Entertainer’s Delight – Open Plan Living
The Challenge
The kitchen needed to be robust, social and entertaining as a top quality chef resides here. Dan and Anne wanted natural textures and an industrial look for their kitchen. Dan and Anne already had designs from other architects but weren’t 100% happy that they were getting want they wanted, they begun working with us and their kitchen began to take shape! They also wanted natural textures and an industrial look for their kitchen.
The Solution
“Bruce used our broader concepts and optimised the space we had available. He came up with some brilliant design ideas, including negative detail to the drawers. We kept changing details of the kitchen design and Bruce then fitted all our choices into the physical space, incorporating a seamless extraction unit, a pantry with bi-fold pocket door, wine fridge, and concealed Blum Motion bins. Bruce also came up with a fantastic and stylish lighting plan.”

The Results
This kitchen needs to be seen – words will not do it justice! An absolutely beautiful kitchen with oak stained veneer cabinetry and a river white granite island bench top from Granite Tops Limited and 6mm stainless steel plate top from Velvet Steel to create the industrial look which is surrounding the gas hobs. Built in wine fridge, reverse finger pulls for a seamless look. Bi-folding pocket pantry and appliance cupboard, tiled splash back, no-touch bin opening and metro tap.

Visiting the showroom
Visiting the showroom was useful to see the quality of the drawer mechanisms and cabinetry options. There was a great range of hardware catalogues that we were able to look through. We also went through our own plans and looked at samples that we later were able to narrow down to final products.
In-home consultation
Bruce came on-site and designed our future kitchen using on-site measurements. He made subsequent visits to ensure his measurements and concept plan still worked and made several improvements to the original plans, in order to make it the best it could be.
The design
Bruce used our broader concepts and optimised the space we had available. Bruce is complemented with high quality tradespeople who supplied us with our granite island bench top, & 6mm solid stainless steel bench top. Bruce also came up with a fantastic and stylish lighting plan.
Custom-built kitchen
Bruce is a true craftsman; he pays close attention to detail and prides himself on delivering a quality customised kitchen within budget. He uses high end products; we were able to afford oak veneer cabinets, which other quotes had out priced themselves.
We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen; it looks stunning, is made from top-end products and its design works so well for what we wanted – entertaining and family life.
